yeah the 3930 would have to go on another socketboard. its a exspensive1 so proberly not worth it, cost asmuch as the 680 card

the i7 3770 goes for around 310 here and the i5 3550 for about 195

the 650 watt supply is from coolermaster and is from when win7 was launched so a few years ago, gona buy a bigger1 now so that i can setup sli

hello

im settingup a new pc and wondering what the cpu's would give towards the rac

wondering about these 3 cpu's

i5 3550

i7 3770K

i7 3930k

the new pc will have a msi gtx 680 4gb on a msi z77 board and atleast 16 gb mem, mayby 32 but that might be overkill. to feed it al im thinking about the coolermaster 1050 watt

another question :)

i have a amd 955be with 650 watt supply and have had it with msi gtx 560 ti hawk in slimode but was abit unstable, could that be the powersupply beeing tosmal ? card's ask about 170 watt each

my pc's are finally running gpu files again, have been dry for some time now, only had some cpu here and there

have bought some gtx 560 ti few weeks back but havent been able to see there full power yet ;o

time for you to catch up :)

i finally did :) gona slow down again abit
see ya got a double 480 now, thats gona be sweet

stil have some problems with downloads, they entrer my download list but dont download, after a few manual retry they finally do. this yust means machine not always have gpu to crunch while they are listed for download

al in al pretty hpy last week as actualy had alot to crunch :)

rly like these 560 i got nowdays, they work fast and im stil running eve-online ;o although sometimes have to shutdown gpu to do battle

But that PC did have GPU tasks "waiting to run" as it paused the GPU, didn't it?

so i installed lunatics and the new boinc 6-12-33(x64)

did setup config to runn 2 units on my new 560 ti card

working nicely, then few days later the boinc is pauzing my gpu while running cpu on wierd priority files (enough time left to complete)

kinda looked like it pauzed the gpu while pc is used but when it using my gpu again and i start a game it keeps running the gpu so i have nocluewhy it pauzed it and why its running now

did move settings around but havent found a problem, same prefs are on the other pc's aswel and havent seen it on those, although i do not look at them all the time

this pc seems to also do the fermi units much tofast compared to other pc

this1 does them in 3 min 15 sec, some even are done in 7sec
the other pc's with same setup does them in 15 to 22 min

In your app_info find the count..

<coproc>
<type>CUDA</type>
<count>.5</count>
</coproc>

Yours should read one. Change it to .5 for two or .33 for three at a time. If you are running a 64 bit system then you should find six instances of <count> if you have a 32 bit system there will only be three. Change them all. This is for the MB CUDA work. If you want to try to run AP on your NV GPUs then come back and ask about that and we will show you how to change that.

trowing in a noobquestion ;p

i bought some msi 650 ti hawk cards while running normal boinc without lunatic

what was it too get more units to work on my card as atm ony runs 1 at a time

and should i then go for 2 at once or 3, im thinking 2 as im also playing games while boinc is running

also got 2 gtx 260 working in sli, with atm both 1 unit mayby i should increase that1 aswel

all my pcs reported now

pc 1 : 267 reported
pc 2 : 718 reported
pc 3 : 346 reported
pc 4 : 236 reported
pc 5 : 84 reported
laptop : 13 reported

now to detach/reatach and hoping the ghost are gone and download starts :)

wel im hpy with this prog,
its nice to see how many ghost i got and wich pcs i need to detach to fix some problems with them not getting enough work.
was alrdy planning to do 1 as it idle for more then 2 days alrdy and now i see why
