Set CPDN to suspend and grab all the work you want from your other projects, then unsuspend it. With my Quad core its easy to accomplish this, but others may not be able to have as much success as I have. I have four hadam3p units right now due July 2010, but three are task suspended. Each day I suspend everything but milky way and grad 10 days worth from them and the only allow one CPDN to run while milky way crunches and seti is fixed. My GPU is hungry!

Thanks in advance for any help, I DID try researching this issue myself and went only as far back as three pages in the Q&A. Each time I try to DL CUDA work, before it even finishes downloading, the task screen says failed, and then when it completes I can not run it and have to abort. Any ideas? B4 I upgraded my board and processor, my PC failed and I could not copy/save or detach from any projects, so maybe I have a bunch of CUDA work that's assigned to me that is pending out there and that's why??

as I started to install further devices, i.e. cuda and Raid, bonic now has all four quads running. that you for all your help. As for my pc list, I haven't updated to seti since I came back online. Task manager is now processing 8 items right now all at once. I answered your questions even though they are mute at this point, because I do appreciate the time you took to ask them.

HI All,
I just installed a new processor and started to resume my crunching, I bought this quad core, but only one task is running at a time, albeit a lot faster than my old processor. Any ideas? I took a look at my settings and all seems fine to let all available processors run at the same time. If you read this over the next couple of days, my GT9400 vid card will be reinstalled once I am comfortable with my system being stable, so some might comment on my GPU, other might not. Thanks for any help and direction to try.

After posting this to another forum, which may have been wrong, I found this thread. Please help if you can....I am running the 190.&& nVidia drivers and just updated the CUDA .dll's to the neww ones posted via the lunatics web site. Got some fresh CUDA work and on my GeForce 9400 GT (driver version 19038, compute capability 1.1, 1024MB, est. 10GFLOPS) vid card, it is scheduled to take 13 HOURS to finish a batch! Any suggestions, or help IS GREATLY appreciated.

HI all,
Now that the the upload server is taking my backlog, I am trying to find out why there is no CUDA work being given to me? My message board shows that my CUDA device is present, and I have checked the box under preferences to get GPU work. Any insight?

Question: does anybody out there actually *use* NetworkManager? Or does it exist simply to confound and annoy? I'm willing to believe it's a useful tool, but unfortunately my experience pretty much shows the latter - it randomly and unexpectedly breaks network connections without remorse.

You are SO RIGHT! I thought it was a god send when I first got it, but I had to "give" it away once it started causing havoc on my network.

There is no "prize" at the end of a fictitious line here, so if there is down time, people should understand that, take a deep breath and wait for it to clear. Being #1 cruncher gets you what, bragging rights on a message board!? Matt is in the most awful position here by having to obey orders, even if he disagrees, or has better ideas that are falling on def ears. It would be great for another 80k, but with today's financial rout, that will be just as hard as have a problem free seti@home day. BTW, I'll be in the top 50 of my class tomorrow, first milestone!
