Posted 2 Mar 2011 by BlackBiker Post: I'm very sorry, but I smuggled more than half a day. Due to some unexpected work I haven't been able to make the donation till the end of the day. That was enough time for one of our members to just make a final huge donation to make the total a nice round € 2,000! So I'm very happy to report that I've made a donation of $ 2,765 to Berkeley. The money is 'on the wire' as we speak and should reach SETI@home shortly :) Thanks to all the people who contributed to this great result! And thanks to Uli for giving us the green star :) |

Posted 24 Sep 2009 by BlackBiker Post: SETI@Netherlands is celebrating its 10th Anniversary today! In honour of that fact we've been organizing a donation rally for SETI@home. I'm pleased to tell you that this has accumulated to a staggering $ 1,760,--. To complete the donation, the SETI@Netherlands foundation will add an amount to make it a nice $ 2,000,--. Today I will give the order to submit that to SETI@home. So there is another donation on it's way, meant to arrive at the 25th of september :) |

Every donation that is made to the SETI@Netherlands foundation between July 1st and September 25th, will be donated to SETI@home on September 25th. We will keep you informed of the amount on a (almost) daily basis in this thread. Till September 8th, this mounts up to $ 1409,-- |

We want to celebrate our anniversary by donating some money to the project we owe our existence to. This is NOT, I repeat, NOT linked to participating in the Gauntlet. There is NO DONATION required to enter the Gauntlet! And maybe it would have been better to have kept this in separate threads. But hey, we didn't. Our bad. I guess we got a bit carried away :) Sorry if this has created some confusion, guys! This being said, you are all still very welcome to join us in our FREE anniversary Gauntlet! |
