I mean it's been over 3+ days and NO NEW WORK UNITS AT ALL?? What's up??
Any idea how many I could have had done by now??
YOU are losing valuable time here.
Plus I'm getting frustrated - how many others are getting declined WU's - how much time have you lost??
Are you telling me that, uh - what we are all caught up?? You don't need our CPU's as much any more??
Should I, or should WE ALL move on and find something else or what??
Where are the work units???

This new BOINC is GARBAGE. I uninstalled it and I advise ANYONE using it to do the same thing. Sad because I was a pretty loyal user, over 1,000 original credits and over 2,000 new credits.
Too bad so sad bye bye.
If you folks ever go back to the original SETI client please let me know - it worked great and I never had any issues.
BOINC on the other hand has crashed my entire system several times.
Not like my system can't handle it - dual p3 1.26GHz with over 2MB cache, 4GB ECC RAM, 3x 40GB (2x RAID 1 mirror and a hot spare), ATI Radeon 9000 - hello...
See ya.

many of my results say "client error". what the crap is that?? also - credit granted, ok here is a turdball scenario - when i go through my "credit granted" stats, I'm showing a LOT of results with " -- " or in other words nothing nill nadda zero zip no credit granted do not pass go do not collect bla bla bla and I'm sure you get the point. Why the hell am I processing anf getting " -- " for credit - ?? Isn't half the fun watching your stats accumulate?? So what the crap is going on around here anyway - ?? Again this just sucks - the old seti worked so much better...

BOINC... Simply stated - it just sucks. Did you guys partner with Microsoft on this - ?? Use your BRAINS and make this BOINC crap OPTIONAL for those who don't mind being part of a BETA TEST (which is what BOINC really is). For those of us who prefer to focus on actual PROCESSING - please give us back our beloved classic SETI.
I am now sitting on about 30+ completed units but as usual "no upload" headaches continue. You say that you did have a problem BUT then you fixed it - ?? The good news is that you can at least admit the fact that you guys have problems, but the bad news is that THE PROBLEM IS NOT FIXED - so keep trying. Your prescious Kryten server or whatever it is called is still not working - sorry.
It says on the "status" page that Kryten is running, so does "running" mean just booted up or does it mean that it is actually working - ??
I almost wish I could just show up and help out...
Oh well. PLEASE REVERT BACK TO CLASSIC SETI.
6) Questions and Answers : Windows : No Upload - you guys have a problem... (Message 210524)

No uploads - I have like about 20 or more units sitting there waiting... Sorry guys but this platform is not as cool as the last version - the very simple SETI that we all knew and loved. Is there any way at all to run that old client - ?? I think I may drop this SETI all together until you guys get your heads on straight and either revert to the platform that actually worked or get this one to work.
Best of luck getting this thing to work, if anyone can tell me if there is a way to run the old client (assume not...).
