I have seen the same issue and I am currently out of workunits.

10/2/2011 1:41:29 PM | SETI@home | update requested by user
10/2/2011 1:41:33 PM | SETI@home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
10/2/2011 1:41:33 PM | SETI@home | Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU
10/2/2011 1:42:11 PM | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
10/2/2011 1:42:11 PM | SETI@home | No tasks sent
10/2/2011 1:42:11 PM | SETI@home | No tasks are available for SETI@home Enhanced
10/2/2011 1:42:11 PM | SETI@home | Tasks for CPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them

I have reset my project, I have verified my SETI@Home Enhanced is enabled, I have maximized my cache to the 10 day setting, and I have updated my GPU to version 280.26. I have not been able to get any more work.

I have been running other projects on my CPUs, and I don't want that to change. I guess I will have to wait for something to change with the project...

I wonder if that means that there's a lot of VLAR's around, (VLAR's aren't sent to Nvidia GPU's)

Out from 88 units i´ve downloaded over night there was only 6 VLARs.
Most VHARs and a few mid range units.

I think Jeff should check his project preferences then, and check that SETI@home Enhanced is still selected, then report back,

Claggy,

I have checked SETI@home Enhanced, and it is still selected. I have reset my project (no issues since I have not had any work for 2 days), and reset my queue for the maximum 10 days. I am still not getting work with the same response from the server...

I appreciate your help regardless! I will keep working on it.

I am only set up to request GPU's...

Understood, as I am not a credit-seeker.

Having millions of results waiting to be verified is not a problem for the servers?

My wish list item would be to reduce the expiration period on Seti work units. Why does it have to be 2 months? If a result becomes a "ghost" it takes two months for it to get regenerated.

I understand that some users have some very slow machines, but could this period be between 2 to 4 weeks?

Regardless of this issue, I am a devoted cruncher! I can't wait for the system get become fully functional again!

RTX,

No attacks here... and I share some of your frustration, but none of your concern.

The outages that we are enduring are due to overdue replacements and upgrades necessary to maintain this project. The admins are a small group that have not been well funded, but changes are being made to the equipment to make the project more robust and ready to expand further.

There are many GPU projects to connect with BOINC that would like your assistance. I have chosen to let my GPU rest for the time being, as this is the only processor that runs Seti on my machine. I run CPDN & Rosetta on my CPUs.

Cheers!

I don't understand why my GPU WU is "waiting to run". Is it competing for resources? It ran for roughly 5 minutes and is held up.
