Personally I like a good whine.... Merlot goes down well to drown the sorrows of no work available. |

ATI GPU
(Message 1087072)
Posted 800 days ago by Richard Fletcher
I have Use NVIDIA GPU set to no. I have a ATI card capable of using the GPU but I don't want to use it. How can I stop BIONIC from asking for GPU work units for the ATI. Its doing that now (see below). Under the activity menu in Boinc Manager set the Use GPU Never option, that should stop it asking for work for the ATI card. |

If you don't like it go find another project it's not like your life depends on seti - yes it has been a pain at times running out of work but things are showing signs of improvement. |

It's also interesting to note that the Cricket graphs now show sustained near maximum bandwidth utilization. Without the cyclic pattern we had been seeing before Jeff opened up the tap. Does that mean we have not found E.T. ;-) |

26C here. Had to stop crunching SETI on CPU as it was getting way to hot. GPU still plodding along nicely though. Running climate prediction.net on CPU as it runs cooler. |

Uploads are taking time - not sure why, but it is just a case of hanging on in there and being patient - took a week to upload all my completed tasks. |

Looks like something is moving out there in the ether. The 56 wu's I have been trying to report all week have all reported OK, but can't get any new work. Hurrah - new work |

Exactly - a bit of patience. If you are running short or have run out of WU's there are plenty of other projects out there you could crunch for while this minor hiccup is sorted. |
