Post: the antenna at Arecibo doesn't do much ,in the way of moving etc so stills are fine . the scenery would be great ,the weather would play havoc with a webcam ,but the Server cam ,would let us all see ,in real time what Activity was happening at the heart of seti. of course multiple cams[Arecibo & Server rack] would be great but the bandwidth would have to be small so the Science projects are kept running . |

Post: the two servers are VERY impressive my question is ... in the UNlikely event of another Outage can 1 Server[NEW] carry SETI , or would another month long outage ensue. or is there some Redundancy inplace using NAS/SAS for storage and a 3rd SErver for backup/restore ? |

Post: Well i'm still only getting about a 1/3 of WU's that actually work Resetting BOINC ,or the Computer doesn't work. Aborting Faulty WU's or Resetting the Project is The only way I can Force SETI to work. I have been running SETI 100% of the time. because If i choose anything else it just stops I blame the latest version of BOINC |

Post: Hi I have only ever ran the 1 computer and don't want to lose any Stats ! Seti shows I have 3 Computers 2 active I tried to Merge /Delete (2) but can only SEE a Merge option How can I DELETE 2 of these Computers (name chenge after REinstalled XP /HDD crash) also I've seen seti members with Huge stats and seemingly only 1 PC ,guess a Farm has been merged to look like 1 Computer. of course it's not just the Stats that count Participating,contributing and of course the chance of Crunching THAT pulse !!!! |

Post: Problem appears to be Fixed Thanks (it did work with throttling previously !) I wont be changing any settings unless required other users still seem to have the problem though (even single CPU core machines) I had success after Project was reset (and Throttling was still enabled) |

Post: Problem appears to be Fixed Solution not reccomended by All it would appear I used the Reset Project command (Advanced view) No real solution or answer has yet to be posted by anyone. I at first thought I was recieving faulty WUs but it may appear to be later ver of BOINC and/or Astropulse + the new Boinc ver??? anyway I now have W/us that actually complete. |
