the last 15 setiathome_enhanced-5.19 wu's with optimiced app 5.12sse3

crunchtime 1600sec - 2550sec ar = 1.65xx

host = Pentium-D-820 @ 3600MHz

tomorrow i will try the optimiced 5.12sse2 with the 5.19 wu's to see if it is also slower than sse3

here on my pentium-d-820@3600mhz
the 5.12ss3 is 3 minutes faster than 5.12ss2

sse2 ~10100sec
sse3~ 9900sec

yes thats a good idea to update :)
i have here also 3 hosts with version 4.45

the problem is only until boinc not release a version that work with my proxy i can not update and im sure that is not only me with that problem
so i have to stay with version 4.45 :(

maybe version 5.5.x solve that problem

but first i want to thank u all to help me with the problem and please no stress about...i have time ;)
so now all on the server status page seems normal (all is green)
a other pc in my home network was some minutes ago downloading some wu´s

here an update about my problem
i downloades version 5.4.6 deinstalled my old one deleted the folder and cleand the registry from all boinc entry

here is the resultate about the version 5.4.6 behind my proxy (keep in mind version 4.45 working without problems here)

hi forum
until now i dont find a way for my problem
all the threads here didn´t solve my problem so i started an extra thread to find maybe the goal

here the problem:
my home lan is a server with a proxy software, with dsl and some clients on a switch

on the server working all versions from the boinc manager
on the clients is all ok with version 4.45
but if i try the version 5.2.13 or newer the boincmanager dont download wu´s
website funktion and finished wu´s are uploading with no errors
only the download dont work
if i connect the clients directly to the internet is all ok too

so what is the difference between 4.45 and 5.x.x in the download funktion? if 4.45 not working than i can understand it is my network configuration but 4.45 work

in the options menu i used the same settings in 4.45 and 5.2.13

i installed also everytime in a new folder and the registry is also cleand from all boinc entrys

i can speak only for myself
here was 3 computers with the same name....
than i tried today to "merge" it....
and yes...it was working...but the credits are not correct thats right
maybe we have to wait until the "catch up" is done

so here a other question
i have some pc's behind my proxy server
but i can run only the boinc version 4.45. if i use the version 5.2.12 or 5.2.13 i can only update but not download i get all time the error 500
with version 4.45 is all ok
the settings is in each versions the same
what is the difference about the upload in version 5.2.x to version 4.45?
have anyone a idea? it can not be my proxy because than the versin 4.45 also not work but it do
i tried the version 5.3.3 also with same result..update work but the download for new wu's not--> error 500
if i tried the other versions i installed every time in a new folder

i had the problem with boinc 5.2.x to get downloads over my proxy
uploads and webbrowsing over my proxy working fine but my boincmanager dont want downloading wu's
after reinstalled the old version 4.45 all is working over my proxy upload, download
i wait now for the next update of boincmanager than i try again

maybe u will give the version 4.45 also a chance...it solved my problem

here an update about my problem

i remember now that the problem start after i updated from version 5.2.5 to 5.2.13
after i installed over my boinc version 5.2.13 the 4.45 all seems ok
but after reinstall 5.2.13 i get again the error 500 from all of my downloads

later i remove boinc complete from hdd and i install it in a fresh folder
maybe this solves the problem

im interested in sci-fi since im a little child and can watch tv
with 13 i get my first telescope :-) and what i saw was so staggering....

now im 32...have a newton-reflector with 20cm and run seti

the reason why i run seti was my wife...one day...it was in the middle of august 2000 i came home from work and i found a little program on our computer.
i asked her what is that and she said "im not sure and i can not delete it i hope you are not angry" i said "no it is cool"
now some years later every time if i come home from work i look at my pc`s to check all is running fine
my wife told me i have a sickness--> it is seti :-)
thats my little story about seti, wife and me

yes i think too it is the boinc-manager
the problem is the upload work fine the download i get since some days only the error 500
if i connect directly to the internet and not over my proxy is all ok
i wonder only it happen to all my pc´s at the same time so i was think it is not a problem at my side
will keep an eye on it now until tomorrow
