He just PM me and he told me that he will stop reschedule any more.

Maybe he is not a bad guy after all. :-)

Time will tell.

Tim

Since then he's gone and hidden his hosts, Seems rather underhand, unless someone has his host id's we won't know if he's telling the truth, or not.

And he is still doing it. He has 700 tasks at one pc, and 600 to the other.

Hey man… contact the admins and ask if they can send AP tasks only to your rigs. :-)

Please STOP rescheduling AP tasks from CPU to Gpu.

You are doing it wrong.

We all can do that and take 500 AP tasks but this is not the right way.

I post this message in public, because I already PM him and he discard me.

One thing is for sure…

All those ‘’pendings’’ will go to the ‘’invalids’’. :-0

I am still using BOINC 6.10.58 on my Linux boxes. SETI@home V7 and AP 6.01 by Lunatics run flawlessly. Same for other 5 BOINC projects.

How can you say that?

You have 1 in progress a and 2 pendings at your machines.

But when you have a big amount of wu’s like me, eventually the problem will appear.

It is like that at the beginning, but when you go to v7, you will see that it is very good.

Yes there are some minor thinks, but you will use to it.

I am using it almost from the beginning, and if you tell me now go back to v6, I will say a big NO.

I think Host:5335631 is a ‘’set and forget machine’’.

That’s why he is using boinc version 6.10.18.

But yes, minimum system requirement is a good idea.

Why should I even bother? This thing is gonna die. I'm going to run it and then receive an Invalid for my trouble. Whut?

Same thing. Server prefer to send wu to ATI and cpu.

I wonder how many of my 500 pending AP wu’s are the same.

Today I had 3 invalid AP tasks at my top rig. (ID: 6716400)

All 3 tasks were ‘’Completed, can't validate’’ by my rig.

As I saw all the wings were with ATI gpus.

Why didn’t the server send anything to a different Nvidia gpu and trash the wu with ‘’Too many errors (may have bug)’’?

Something must be happening because 3 users suddenly appeared at the top computer list, with ‘’ in progress tasks’’ way over the 200 limit.

Will you please get off your collective behinds, and finish your APs please. My number of "Validation pending" for AP is now over 100. Please, pretty please, do your part of the crunching before I reach my retirement age. :-)

I will run a test for a while and see what will happen at my top computer.

I will stop V7 and do only AP ( cpu and gpu ) for a week.

I will stop AP when the ‘’Validation pending’’ AP’s go to 1000. ( now I am at 200 ).

Hope this will help. :-)

Maybe I didn’t saw it in here.

How can we run more than 1 wu at a time with stock?
My gpu’ s run at 60% when one with v7.

Tim

Check the "v7 roll-out" thread.

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=71728&postid=1373498#1373498 to be precise - app_config.xml, goes into project directory, activate by 'read config file', boinc 7.0.64 required.

Did that and all wu’s trashed.
Now manager don’t ask for wu’s even there is none.
Anyone has it done for 2 wu’s at a time?
Please post it.

Tim
