Posted 21 Jun 2013 by Tim Post: I am still using BOINC 6.10.58 on my Linux boxes. SETI@home V7 and AP 6.01 by Lunatics run flawlessly. Same for other 5 BOINC projects. How can you say that? You have 1 in progress a and 2 pendings at your machines. But when you have a big amount of wu’s like me, eventually the problem will appear. Tim |

Posted 20 Jun 2013 by Tim Post: Today I had 3 invalid AP tasks at my top rig. (ID: 6716400) All 3 tasks were ‘’Completed, can't validate’’ by my rig. As I saw all the wings were with ATI gpus. Why didn’t the server send anything to a different Nvidia gpu and trash the wu with ‘’Too many errors (may have bug)’’? Tim |

Posted 13 Jun 2013 by Tim Post: Will you please get off your collective behinds, and finish your APs please. My number of "Validation pending" for AP is now over 100. Please, pretty please, do your part of the crunching before I reach my retirement age. :-) I will run a test for a while and see what will happen at my top computer. I will stop V7 and do only AP ( cpu and gpu ) for a week. I will stop AP when the ‘’Validation pending’’ AP’s go to 1000. ( now I am at 200 ). Hope this will help. :-) Tim |
