1) Questions and Answers : Windows : boinc_cli as a service does not run (Message 25129) Posted 11 Sep 2004 by ARosti Post: I have boinc_cli running as service (W2K). After updating to Boinc 4.05, the trouble is that while the service itself starts, cruncing is suspended. If I run boinc_cli in command line, I can see that it starts but suspends itself saying that user is active. Now I have changed the boing preferences so that boinc should run always, tried to update and reset project, but this behaviour still continues. Before 4.05 update boinc_cli crunched regardless of the Boinc preferences (then I thought that the preferences should only affect the GUI version). What's up?

2) Questions and Answers : Preferences : Reporting WUs (Message 1063) Posted 24 Jun 2004 by ARosti Post: I have a couple of machines set up running BOINC and SETI@home2. They have been running a bit over 12 hours now. How often do the machines automatically report the WU's that are in status "Ready to report"? If I update the project manually, reporting seems to happen, but otherwise no machine has reported ready units.
