Im using seti@home since 1999 but changing the "in use" time seems to work.i set it up to 45 min and until now everything is fine but now im pretty sure that: -Even in "suspend" mode, boinc does not completely stops working, something obviously wrong with that setting. thank you for yor help

Im asking your help bc i took every necessary actions but cant figure it out. I mentioned about my settings, did a clean install, re-install gpu drivers too, browser gpu acc is of and its same in every browser. Re-install the browsers too(using firefox quantum now but same in ie or chrome) win optimization is ok. I dont know what else to do, tim sure there is something wrong about the boinc software bc my nephew reported me the same things and quit using boinc a few months ago.

6) Questions and Answers : GPU applications : Problem about "suspended mode" (Message 1902306) Posted 22 Nov 2017 by Savas (Luxor) Kara Post: Im running seti on a 4 core phenom cpu and a nvidia gt 730 gpu+6gb ram win7 for the last 6 months i noticed a problem about boinc.i used to set my cpu+gpu "work always" but then i started to face some problems about youtube watching while boinc is in use.i thought my pc is strong enough to play youtube videos(480p) when boinc is in use with those settings but ı dont know why it couldnt.İt calculates 4 cpu + 1 gpu tasks on 7.8.3 (x64). then i changed my preferences to Computing Usage limits Use at most 100 % of the CPUs Use at most 75 % of CPU time When to suspend Suspend when computer is on battery + Suspend when computer is in use + Suspend GPU computing when computer is in use + 'In use' means mouse/keyboard input in last 1 minutes Suspend when non-BOINC CPU usage is above 25 % Compute only between --- as you see boinc must be "suspended" if my computer is in use. and with these settings im still experiencing problems about playing videos on youtube or in windows media player both. Video is very laggy and freezes sometimes while boinc is open but in suspend mode. Cpu or Gpu not overheated. But if i exit the boinc application totaly everything goes back to normal. i really cant figure out why this is happening and because of this i cannot run boinc in my most of pc usage. Does somebody has a solution for this?

(Message 1777098) Posted 8 Apr 2016 by Savas (Luxor) Kara Post: Hi Bernie, No not 24 hours buy at least 16 hours a day that two computers compute.(x2 250 and the fx 6300) And yes that computers you linked 100 tasks "in progress" but the number of tasks of only x2 250 and the fx 6300 have ability to send must keep my average credit about 4500 minimum.Because it was like this until 25th of march. As i said the main ones are x2 250 and the fx 6300 one.The others are the computers of my office and compute only in workdays for 8 hours and not with %100 cpu power.They are only the teammates, not the master players. And now my average credit is 2780 :( i wonder what happened to my credits.

(Message 1776791) Posted 7 Apr 2016 by Savas (Luxor) Kara Post: Thank you, Yes that's right but i dont think that is the point.Because those computers are the lowest credit capable ones.I mean the main 2 computers are the x2 250 and fx 6300.Only these two computers can produce more average than that computers all.The other ones are work pc's that only compute on workdays and only in cpu. And now my average become 3072. I still looking for an answer...

My last 40 days link is this: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/81670/lastDays I wonder because of the version 8, are the seti servers too busy to give credits about the version 7s' finished tasks. At the 25 of march my average was about over 5000 unit per day but now its 3120 units per day. As i said before no change in boinc, my computers still keeps working on the tasks like as before the march 25. Does anybody knows what is the problem?

(Message 173587) Posted 2 Oct 2005 by Savas (Luxor) Kara Post: i run boinc-seti on multiple computers.i can see the computers in "my computers" page but i dont know which one is which?i mean i can only see the ram+cpu etc. on the information poage but no computer name.how can i see the names of the computers.by this i can easily understand which one is working hard but now i cant.because the cpu+ram are mostly the same on every computer. thanks for your answers...
