Boinc Tasks is suspending all the VLAR tasks, that is certainly helping. But it did that from the start, so the CPUs being freed up to feed the GPUs is having an effect.

I'm running all AMD cpus here. I turned off "use CPU" in the project prefs 2 days ago and now as the backlog of cpu tasks runs out, my RAC is rising again.

Although this may be due to the mysterious Credit New thingy.
YMMV

OK,
first you need to disengage the bi-focal inter-rossiter. Then stop the sprocket-thrombulator. Delete app info module. Calibrate the flux capacitor to run between 2 and three units @50Hz. Insert the dis-combobulator and tune for maximum smoke.

Format c:/s , re-connect the inter-rossiter and press Ctl+Alt+Del.

Reset the project and voila !

No more problems.

First up is the GeForce GTX 780, this card is the "GeForce GTX Titan LE". Based on a cut-down GK110 GPU, this model seems like a consumer version of the Tesla K20C, with 2496 CUDA cores and 5GB GDDR5 memory. Performance is said to be around 30 percent faster than a GeForce GTX 780, with pricing likely in the vicinity of $499 to $599

30 percent faster than itself, that's impressive. I shall buy one.

From England,
I too am getting the domain has expired message when I access directly using the nslookup IP address of http://208.73.210.155/

However when I use the url lunatics.kwsn.net I get redirected to an online gambling site.

My hosts file is intact and contains no lunatics entries, so it appears that they haven't paid the ISP or their nameserver needs updating.

[edit] when I go to 63.247.72.178 I get this

Ni!

I just installed this Native Boinc client on an Asus TF101 eeepad transformer.
Does anyone know how to get this to be manageable under BoincTasks.

I have added the host IPs, the access password and enabled remote access.
I've added it into Boinc Tasks as a computer but no connect.
The TF101 is pingable and is showing up in my computers on setiathome.

Any ideas ?

[Edit} Belay the above, it started working. Took a few minutes, but it's working. Reporting 23 hours for 1st task and 60 hours for the 2nd task !

Perhaps they haven't updated yet or it was an upstream problem with their ISP.

Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.

Hi,
here is a comparison between GTX cards from nVidia....
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/graphics_cards_buy_now_uk.html

Sorry, prices in GBP.

Basically you get what you pay for. More cores usually means more crunching.
GTX 650ti not listed, but the 650 showing as worse than the 460 !

The 560 ti has a 448 core version which goes quite well.

All my 500 and 650 watt PSUs have died within 2 years. I now only use 750 or 1000 watts.
I am running 9 double GPU rigs and they seem very reliable now. The 1000 watt units previously ran 3 GTX 570s too.

Twice I have lost motherboards when the PSU failed. Grr

It seems a false economy to use "just enough" power. Bear in mind, that these PSUs are probably optimistically over-labelled too.

The file hosts is a text file usually in c:\windows\System32\Drivers\etc
It may be Read Only, so you may have to Right Click on it in explorer, Properties and untick the Read Only box.

Run Notepad.exe as administrator. i.e. Right Click on it and
Run As Administrator

The #s are remarks

Then in Notepad add the line below:

# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
208.68.240.21 boinc2.ssl.berkeley.edu
#

This will force the system to use 208.68.240.21 instead of whatever DNS sends back.

Hope this makes sense.
