none of the b list causes abortion. They either prevent fertilization or implantation neither of which are considered to be an abortion.
That is a mute point, the SCOTUS said they are abortifacients and that's whose opinion counts. You and I saying yes, no, yes, no means nothing.

============================================================
SCOTUS are lawyers and judges not biologists and as such are not immune to making bad law on the bases of bad science.

while it would be nice for SCOTUS to be infallible they are after all only human.

while SCOTUS is very powerful they have not yet found a way to rewrite biology.

there is a basic premise when dealing with a persons freedoms and rights.

that premise is that your rights and freedoms end where mine begin.

so in essence this thread is not truly about whether or not the owners have the right to practice their religion it is about where the line is between their rights and the employees rights.

since they felt that it was immoral to have anything to do with paying for the section b part of the contraceptives they could have tried to set up a deal with the insurance company so that any employee that wanted that part could have gotten it by paying that part of the insurance on their own.

that way they could have avoided interfering with their employees rights without doing anything they considered immoral it was the outright denial of their employees rights that makes this an issue.

Sometimes you have to hit people over the head with a 10 foot lead clue by 4.

See Clyde, nowhere does the SCOTUS state that Hobby Lobbies constitutional rights are violated by being mandated to pay for contraceptives. It only talks about the RFRA, which is not a constitutional amendment and therefor congress can easily make a law that alters the working of the RFRA.
The SCOUTS ruling has nothing to do with contraceptives, it has everything to do with forcing someone to pay to kill babies. I too can play the B.S. game.

You people keep pushing to force others to do your bidding and it could get ugly. Look at the US southern boarder. Anyway this has nothing to do with you. We in the US don't care that you put women, who are for rent, on display in windows.

...What do you do next?

Don't drop bombs on them? Or how about not invading the place to begin with? Perhaps work to find a political solution that ends the violence?

It is to easy to excuse the large scale killings of innocent people simply because a terrorist was hiding behind them and terrorists are bad.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

the sad thing is hamas is funded by arab groups that want the violence to continue and of all the peoples in the area the israelis are the best fit for a long term friendship with the palestinians who provide grunt labor and middle management for most of the arab world.were they to come to terms with israel
it could provide the design and engineering to turn that area into a paradise.
it is a shame that it will never happen.
if the palestinians ever do come to terms with israel they are the only partner in the area that actually would have a vested interest in protecting them with no ulterior motive.

First sarin gas is wmd and was used in Japan some years ago that it had not been
weaponized is the only reason thousand did not die.

Second the way to make war on terror is in the courts make terrorists legitimate international target and make it dangerous to fund them and you severely limit what they can do and where they can hide.

now why can't we do something like a war on poverty.

wait a minute

we have a war on drugs yet drugs are more available every day
we have a war on terrorism yet it seems like there are more terrorists everyday

so i suggest that instead of a war on poverty lets have a war on money and wealth .

If they want to do narcotics get an abortion; if they don't want to get an abortion or stop doing narcotics they can give up all rights to welfare. See easy and everybody is happy.

Batter you are trolling quite well. Totally off topic and and as delusional as the best ID has been able to come up with.

In the past: Federal Courts have taken Laws very seriously, Regulations less so.
The FCC's power to regulate is based on law so the courts ruling on the regulation is based on law. Granted that law was not written in the constitution so it can be changed.

No one here is a constitutional scholars so we all assume. I do know that this issue isn't about denying anybody anything, it is about forcing someone to do something they think will get them cast into hell. This isn't about freedom, it about control freaks forcing their agenda on others. Isn't that why we threw them out in 1776? Fortunately they are a small and insignificant cabal that pales in the face of what's important to American's, dancing cat videos.

==============================================================
Yes my dancing cat videos are important,but to the point of what you are saying,
while the Greens should not be forced, neither should their employees with opposing beliefs, so constitutionally all that can be done is stop discrimination along religious lines federally,because congress shall pass no law in regards too
formation of a religion or the practice of religion.

Are you really stating a law, in opposition to a SCOTUS Decision, IE: Roe v Wade (Woman's right to abortion) overturns the Decision? And is the 'Law of The Land' for the years before it get to SCOTUS?

That argument wouldn't a pass a third grade civics class.

while you are right to the extent that congress can not just reissue the same law,
=========================================================
congress can and does evolve the law to render SCOTUS OBSOLETE, then the law has been changed in such a way that the SCOTUS ruling can no longer happen so it is not overturned it has been made meaningless because what ever happened to cause SCOTUS to rule in the first place can no longer happen.

FYI

Thorium has 1 realy big problem most of the good quality Thorium is in rear earths which is being held by CHINA and they have no plans to allow anybody else to use it .
Also the Thorium that everybody else can get there hands on is not good enough to use as it pushes the cost up so much it's not fesible to use so unless CHINA changes it view Thorium for the rest of the world is a no goer

And it's still not as safe as ppl think shore safer than normal Uranium Reactors but still not safe

the existing stockpiles of atomic waste would power hundreds of reactors for 1000s of years

Thor is everywhere and anytime!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idjyusDUGSc
Maybe it's something in our praises for Thor.
English "Hail", hailstorm.
Russian "Hail", GRAD (multiple rocket launcher system).
German "Hail", well you all know what thats mean. Thor doesn't like that.
Any ideas on how to praise for Thor and not using the word "Hail"?
It's only two days left.

"please thor no more hail"

If they gain a state and declare war on the West, the West has an easy time flying bombers over bombing them back to the stone age. All they would do is paint a huge target on their backs.

==================================================

while this is true as we learned in afghanistan it is hard to bomb someone into the stone age when they already live there.

By changing what that act does, they simply make the SCOTUS decision obsolete.
You people are barking up the wrong tree blinded by your agenda. The true evils are the Wal*Marts who supply no health coverage. Would you rather Hobby Lobby not pay for three items or drop all health care? That is what you are demanding whether you know it or not.

The Hobby Lobbies are learning no good deed goes unpunished.

The Constitution has 'The Last Word', unless Amended (long hard process).
The states can call for a constitutional convention where amendments can be made on the fly. There has only been one but it is on the books. Amendments are hard but they can be quick.

======================================================================

First of full time employees are counted (in regards to the ACA)by the total number of hours worked divided by 40 divided by 52 ie 2 20h/w worker = 1 40h/w worker you must have 50 or more full time (40/w workers) to have to have insurance i guarantee that walmart has to provide insurance under the ACA.

and while the states can call for a constitutional convention this brings the entire constitution up for review and amendment and no one in thier right mind would trust congress to do that it is never going to happen!

Negative. But of course, you studied American Constitutional Law in College.

You don't need to have studied US constitutional law to know that the RFRA is not part of the constitution but is simply a federal law that applies to other federal law. The kind of law congress can adapt, expand, decrease or amend in any way it likes. Of course, the SCOTUS can later on decide that what congress did in some other way is unconstitutional, but the act of changing aspects of the RFRA is not unconstitutional.

Constitutional (SCOTUS) Decisions effect's EVERY Law. Past/Present/Future. RFRA included.

Yes. One does need to study US Constitutional Law.

All law has standing until the SCOTUS deems it unconstitutional this decision now has standing in law but any change in the law or new law may render this standing obsolete, because the decision of the SCOTUS was based on particulars that can no longer happen or are no longer there.

Perhaps that how it works in Europe. Not The US.

Then do tell, how does it work in the US? Does congress not have the power to update, remove or amend laws?

Not Constitutional Issue's (SCOTUS Decision's).

The US Constitution must be Amended.

Congress can change either the law in question or other law to render the decision moot though the precedent remains.
