Hi. I am running seti on my I7 HP Pavilion dv6-6b05tx Entertainment Notebook PC and have had no problems, HP tend to use software and hardware monitoring to throttle the I7 and/or the fans to stop them burning out. |

Hi all. I am wondering if there is a way to remotely update my other computers via the Boinc manager as I work in another country for 50% of the year on a two week rotation and my machines at home seem to need a manual hit of the update button from time to time and I think my son if getting fed up with walking in the rain to get to my computer dungeon to do it. Any help appreciated. |

Hey Grant. I am in Shoalwater south of Perth, cold and miserable here too, but in my converted cellar the crunchers keep me toasty warm, adding another later this week, just shopping for a cheapish gpu and hoping not to break the bank with the power bill lol. Hi Richard. Usually only use the Nvidia drivers, it was just that I clicked without reading what Microsoft was updating so when I backtracked I found that it had changed my drivers so I rolled it back to 285.62 so far no more problems :) |

Hi all. Sounds suspiciously like what is happening to me, it has only started since Microsoft update updated my nvidia drivers on Monday night, the workunits start out fine but after an hour or so I noticed the GPU's were at 0 load and the workunits were taking forever, a exit and restart of Boinc Manager gets them moving again but if left unattended they run for about 3 hours and return a computation error!! I have rolled the driver back and am waiting to see if it fixes the problem. Hi Mark, how are the Kitties? |

Hi All, Wouldt it cause any problems having a Nividia 560 and 580 in the one comp? I was thinking of giving my son one of my 560 cards so he can play his star wars game at a decent setting and buying a 580, any help would be appreciated. |
