I guess I'm a weird American for liking everything iced, but I'm having a nice iced tea right now, and it's good. I hot brew one bag, and then pour it over ice and more water. Call the tea police, but I like it.

I'm really sorry to hear of the trouble people are experiencing, and if I could, I'd give you all a big hug.

… byron.

Yes, that's good, and see my discussion about apple cider, earlier in this thread.

I'd rather have cider than apple juice.

Yeah, it's yummy.

I almost forgot the most classic way to get your OJ. In the peel. Nature’s original way to serve it.

Very good point, Admiral. The problem is, buying them that way is considerably more expensive. I can get oj in frozen concentrate form for $1.49, add water and have 48 ounces of juice(no sugar added), but one whole orange, which reduces down to just a few ounces, is 99 cents, and typically isn't even as tasty.

bar keep, a round of beer for all :-)

I think one would be good right now. It's about midnight, and one would put me right to sleep.

Good choice, Byron. Unsweetened, with a little lemon juice is my way, lately.

That's such a mind-bending question for me, and I'm not smart enough to posit a response in terms of mathematical physics, but philosophically, I do not like to put the answer in the hands of religion, either, because you end up with circular explanations for things that defy logic. I have to just say that I don't know, but I think there's some scientific way to explain it, and no one has done that yet(to my satisfaction).

It was disgusting. One day I had my winter coat loaded with Billy Beer. I went out onto the local frozen lake, and couldn't even give the beer away. Nobody liked it.

What would you compare it to? Pabst? Or worse?

I prefer hibiscus tea to to pomegranate juice,
although when it comes to eating what they're
made of, pomegranates win every time :)

Moomin posted a very educational video about the pomegranate fruit and how to open it and juice it. I have a friend who has eaten it, and she swallows the seeds. I'm not into that. So far, my only contact is with the juice in my pictures above, and I think I'll let it stay that way.

Well, I'm not an instant fan to pomegranate juice. It tastes a little like cranberry juice, but it's not something I think I'll crave. It has a heavy mouth feel. It isn't light and refreshing to me.

It is photogenic, though, in one of my mother's delicate cordial glasses -

Here's two pictures I just took on the kitchen counter -
