What enthusiasm.
As several of you have given multiple answers, and multiple posts I have to ask: Am I waiting for 10 phrases or 10 posts, or 10 separate entrants?

<snip> Hopefully you will be able to get the results by phone, as that means "nothing to worry about", but if you do have to go and see the quack again
I hope it is something they can treat without resorting to the knife.

+1

Speaking of trouble sleeping...

Good morning all - Yes, I'm in the UK, but since retiring my life seems to have gone asynchronous.
My Beloved Technophobe always was so she's no help (in this regard).
My only clock input is the square dance clubs some evenings, and family visits some weekends.

Hi Mike,
Get the doc to declare your problems permanent so the employer has to provide suitable adjustments?

<snip>, but then again we have his legacy of Credit New that is still dropping our credits well below other projects. ;-)

As I only work on Seti I didn't know that. How much conspiracy do you want? Start with (based on credits)
"Look, far less CPU going into SETI. Must not be popular any more, so let's can it."

I think some of you people forget that The University of California owns this forum and they occasionally use it for educational purposes. I seriously doubt that the Seti scientists suddenly decide to recode the forum. It is most likely that a student is learning or practicing coding in a real world environment Get a grip people.

Well I would not hire the guy who coded this without a user option for "classic".
And I certainly wouldn't hire the guy who let him/her, because in the real world your suppliers matter.

Well I come back here after a long absence and see this CSS rubbish.
My first reaction was "Somebody died?"
Slated is what the designer should be.

When I first logged on and it was all dark, my reaction was "who died?"

As others have said, "Slate" is a step backwards in readability.
Standard triumph of form over function.
Where is the option to revert to Classic please?

We have other friends who do Square Dancing and it looks
to us like they are having a lot of fun with it.

"Fun and friendship set to music"

...so even us clumsy nerds got to dance with the pretty girls...

It's ideally suited to brainy types as you have to solve choreography problems in real time. Simple ones at first, of course, but at the advanced levels it has been likened to playing bridge....to music.

Swinging right along, hello you two!
Good evening Celt, Vic, Sparky.
I blame the Canadians, myself. In 1952 (I think) the then Princess Elisabeth and husband Philip toured Canada and our newsreels showed them participating in square dances. This caused a wild surge in popularity of this dance form, to the point where even the debutante balls that year were square dances. Afer all, Daddy, if She can do it...
