hi there i have put in my settings to get enough work units for upto ten days, but i keep on running out. i have no tasks at the moment and my pc is requesting tasks but wont download any saying :-

hi guys thanks for the posts, i did the .40 update and it changed the app_info file to nothing it just had <app_info> at the top and nothing else.

should i delete all of it and start again or should i just amend this one.

i have windows 64bit ultimate
4gb ram
500gb hdd
amd x2 550 3.1ghz stock
hd 6970 2gb graphics with driver 8.95 cat ver 12.3
i have also set in seti setting to receive all avalible work unit which is seti enhanced, astropulse v505, seti@home v7 and astropulse v6

also when looking in event log on boinc im getting a message of :-

[error] state file error : duplicate app version : astropulse_v505 windows_x86_64 505

and

[error] state file error : duplicate app version : astropulse_v505 windows_intelx86 505

dosen't seem to cause any issues but i thought i should get checked

just Updated Installers, v0.39 for Windows from lunatics now im getting error : syntax error in app_info.xml

i had a look and i have nothing in the app_info file what do i need to do ???

i have got 98 for cpu and only 228 for my gpu, i have got amd 550 dual core cpu and a hd 6970 gpu

i'm getting this message on seti

:- This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress

but i have got upto ten days of work units can be downloaded in my pref settings

any ideas

hi guys im running a amd hd 6970 just woundered if anyone has the same card if so how long does it take to complete a task and what credit r u getting?????


im running :-

amd 2x 550 @ 3.1ghz cpu
4gb mem running at 1333mhz
amd hd 6970 2gb gpu
with windows 7 ultimate sp1 64 bit

thank you managed to get two working at the same time but i have just tried to go back to 11.2 but i unistalled 11.8 then reboot then downloaded 11.2 and installed it but half way in it came up missing inf file and did not install driver so i have gone back to 11.8 any ideas ???????????????
