Great news,
I was able to skirt around the virus and then restore to a day ago..then ran Trend micro and it removed the threat...and I didn`t lose my WU`s.

I just recently this morning got a virus on my main cruncher after just downloading new wu`s. I had to put my old disc back on, however my backup is from 2 weeks ago and all of the new wu are now lost. ...and I have to dump the old ones from the old disc. I apologize to all of my wingmen, it hurts a lot. I wish there was a way to have my wu file on another disc because my D: drive is fine.

My iMac has no problems up/downloading wu`s. Been getting them all right along. The puter uses an ATI card where as my windows based puters all have nvidia cars in them and they are stuck on empty....why would the iMac continue to work flawlessly and the Windows based ones dry up?

I`m with you Clyde, I started in 2002 and the project just seems to be plagued. I`ve been think some time about shutting down permanantly on my 10th anniversary.I can`t babysit my machines and I`m donating my time and energy ( in the form of electricity) to the project and everyhting seems to be getting worse.I`m not crying, I`m not complaining,,,,,,I am just saying!!!! With so many bad hosts out there it has casued a lot of problems in my belief of units sending bad results ...and then we get stuck with leftovers..I know trhese guys put a lot of their time into the project on their own, and I thank them for that, but it is getting to be too much on this end.
