Yes, but the database and the servers haven't been cleaned up for six and a half days. It'll be done tonight, in plenty of time for your deadline.

Unfortunately, this is a Berkeley server problem, and there's nothing you can do about it at your end. You'll just have to wait: maybe it will be cured by tonight's maintenance, maybe not. But I'm afraid trying again after maintenance is your best bet.

It did not worked. I had to cancel the request, loosing the credit.

Thank you.

Since couple of days I get this message:

for one completed task. It is suppose to return the results on Jan. 4. The other results are reported fine. How do I report this result in time? I don't want to cancel it and loose credit...

Thank you for your help.

I suggest you wait for at least 12 hours, then try again.

Once a week, the SETI database is cleaned up and backed up, and a lot of little problems like this get sorted out. It usually happens on Tuesdays, but last week it was done on Wednesday because of the holiday, and I expect it will be done today as well. Expect everything to be switched off around 17:30 UTC, and hopefully it'll be working again by 23:00 UTC.

I have this message for more than 4 days...

Thank you.

4) Questions and Answers : Preferences : Stop downloading WUs (Message 112765)

I'm trying to stop downloading WUs for my work location due to new computer useage policies. I thought I had it figured out when I set my preferences for max download speed to 0 and disk space utilization to 0, however, I noticed this morning that I have new WUs downloaded.

Recalling a previous thread on this subject, I upgraded the version of BOINC to 4.25, but unfortunately, there is no option for "no new work" as is indicated on the Boinc Manager page (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/manager.php)

What version of BOINC is needed for this? Or is this option missing because I installed BOINC as a service? HELP!!!

Never mind... I went back to the thread I mentioned previously and noticed I needed the "development" version to get that option. I now have the option to not download any more work units and I've enabled that option. Hopefully it'll work. :-)

The newest boinc I can download is 4.19 (as in boinc_4.19_i686-pc-linux-gnu). How do I stop the download of new wu? Few of my computers will go permanetly down and I want to have a clean stop.

Thank you.
