Hello I recently got a new mobo and gpu the mobo has enough slots to run 2 gpu's so I put my old gpu in as well as the new one but boinc is only using the new gpu it sees both but only wants to use 1 is there a way to use both gpu's or would using lunatics be the easier way. The new mobo is a Gigabyte GA X99 UD3P with a Xeon E5 2670 v3,the new gpu is a Asus Strix gtx 1070,the old gpu is a Asus gtx 750 ti. Also here is a copy of the event log when starting boinc. Thanks for the info I will have to give it a try also I was wondering if it is possible to run 2 separate instances of Boinc 1 for each project using different preferences for each project as well. P.S. I had fun with the WOW event this year a little friendly competition is always fun.

Good evening I was just wondering if it is possible to run 2(or more) projects at the same time I have an 8 core 16 thread Xeon so I have the cpu resources but whenever I turn the new project on it runs instead of Seti@home I have tried setting resource shares but no change. From reading on here and the pogs site I think I need to have different data directories but am not sure how to do that and would I be able to move everything to the new directory or would I be better off removing the new project and starting over. Thanks for any help.

Checked the event log to make sure and it says that is where it is at I was pretty sure that I did not change the location but another thought is since I am new to lunatics I do not know where to look even though I read several threads here a lot of the info is directed at people that already know what they are doing not always to newbies like me. Sorry for taking so long to respond but I got some bad news from a couple of my friends that their Dad who had a stroke a month ago is not doing well at all and since we have been friends and hunting buddies for 35 years I had to go see him. Thanks again for your help.

Good evening(my time) since I am new to lunatics I just want to ask a couple of questions I installed lunatics on one of my crunch only rigs about 5 days ago after that I think I have a baseline to go by so I would like to start tweaking things particularly with the gpu but I cannot find the files that I need to edit maybe I am looking in the wrong place or am just missing them or I did something wrong with the install. Thanks for any help.

Speaking of all the phone home spy stuff, does anyone have a list of the IP's and/or domain names that are used for the phone home? Thinking the simple answer is to block those with a hardware firewall.

I think that somebody else brought that up but the problem is that you have NO control over updates so anytime M$ wants they can send out an update that tells your computer to use different IP's or domains to keep on STEALING your private info and data.

I have to agree I am liking the taste of mint very much(and giving the time frame I think that the flavor will get even better)Once the current run of beta is over(and I am done with my computer upgrades that are in progress)I will be devoting more time to Mint since I feel that this will be my OS for the future.
