It seems to be fine now.
I did do a Clean install and it has been running good so far with only 2 very short screen freezes and I'm now running two wu's on the card now without overheating (Couldn't do that before..waiting for an AP to see what happens).
Now Fingers are crossed until tomorrow AM.

It's doing work slower and black screened today. I'm not sure what's going on.
I got my clock speed back up after 3 reboots.
I'll check later and post back in the AM @ 7:30 Eastern Time.

I also use Precision X from EVGA and the card is an EVGA GeForce GTX 460 W/1024 mb Ram.
It has never downclocked until I put in the new drivers.

I downloaded the New nVIDIA Driver and it droped my temps but it also downclocked my GTX 460 from 720 to 405 mhz.
Any suggestions?
EDIT, I'll check back in the AM my time.

1. You don't need to use ISPs or webhosts in the US to do distributed computing, that ship sailed about 10 years ago.

How can I do this?

Thanks

It's false information. You cannot access the internet without an Internet Service Provider. ISPs are required, period.

Would it be possible to tap in with my old Telnet box?

I Filed on both with this reply,

The proposal to abandon Net Neutrality on the internet in favor of a multi-tiered content-biased system is deeply flawed. It would:

1. create a system that inhibits technical innovation by allowing ISPs to choose which technologies their customers can access.
2. create a system that protects entrenched companies while penalizing the start-ups that have been the life blood of the internet.
3. limit access of non-profit organizations that cannot afford "fast-lane" fees.
4. penalize media companies that do not directly own cable or satellite access to consumers.

The Internet has flourished under the de facto common carrier ISPs held until recently. It is time for the FCC to declare that ISPs are Common Carriers and hold them to that status.
I personally do Science for several BOINC based projects and feel that any limitation would damage many projects that help people around the world.

Thank you,

Jim Scott

I guess Es99 can't stop. But that's his intolerance.

Speaking as a Tolerant Atheist: I welcome ALL of the Believer's symbols, and do not wish to subject their Speech to attack.

Just one question. What exactly is anyone's problem with Jesus, the method of His Death, and purported Resurrection? If we all followed His teachings, we would be a much better world.

Good Point...However if someone "Slaps One Cheek" on me I'm gonna Knock the snot outta 'em.
Also if someone enters My House without Knocking while I'm in Bed the Police can collect them from the Porch.

Posted 141 days ago by Profile Jim_S
I HOPE that I have the problem solved.
When I downloaded 7zip I got it from the Softronic website and it loaded the Puter up with Malware.
I had to run Malwarebytes, CCleaner and HitmanPro to get all of the Crap out of it.
Gotta Love Hitman Pro though. It was Very fast and effective also after the Cleanup Re-boot it ran again on its own and declared that the System was clean.
I'm going to pay for the 3 license pack and put on All of our windows Boxes.

Why do you believe it is FIPS? What steps have you taken so far to narrow down the problem to this?

I have recieved a Windows Startup error notice and went into the registry and checked...It shows a value of 0 however still shows as Enabled.
Tried to Enable it per instructions, Did a restart and got the same thing.
