Posted 29 Aug 2006 by API Post: Please clarify. DLL are executable files that all programs need. Sure, i just hate when any unpacked data is sent over the net because many of the networks are protected from sending/receiving .dll files (as well as .exe files). For some time now, i have been unable to crunch any seti workunits because i cannot download libfffw3f-3-1-1-a.dll file. this, i suppose, is a common problem. |

Posted 29 Aug 2006 by API Post: i don't know what is wrong with this setiathome, but i'd like to participate - however - there is no point transferring files as they are now. DLL's should never be transferred as they are. fix this, and lot's of people would live happier again. |
