It is kind of disappointing that they want to charge people, but I suppose they have to fund the operation some how.

Hopefully somebody will sponsor it. Where's Paul G. Allen when you need him?

You changed your name! Good think I was around for your pics and avatars or I would've missed it. :)

Yeah, I should probably change it back, I only did it for some cheap web hits, getting my ass kicked in the google rankings :-(

They just said on BBC that it was a suicide bomber. And since the IRA doesn't use suicide bombers, it was probly Al-Qaeda or associates.

Well, I've never heard of IRA attacking several targets in an coordinated efford like this, so I'd rule out IRA instantly. Besides, they don't really have any reason to attack at the moment - at least not big scale like this. And BTW as far as I know they always target military or police.

They way this has happened sounds more typical for Al-Qaeda and ass.

Posts like this one make me absolutely furious. Let’s take a look at some of the IRA’s targets:

1974: In the Birmingham Pub Bombings bombs in two pubs kill 19
1974: In December a bomb explodes on the first floor of Harrods department store in Knightsbridge

1975: The killing of businessman Ross McWhirter, who had offered reward money to people who informed on the IRA.

10 October 1981: a bomb blast on Ebury Bridge Road in London kills 2 people and injures 39

26 October 1981: a bomb explodes at a Wimpy Bar [a fast food restaurant] in Oxford Street London killing the bomb disposal officer trying to defuse it

1983: A Harrods department store bomb planted by the IRA during Christmas shopping season kills six

18 February 1991: A bomb explodes at Victoria Station. One man is killed and 38 people injured

28 February 1992: A bomb explodes at London Bridge railway station injuring 29 people

10 April 1992: A large bomb explodes in St Mary Axe in the City of London killing three people and injuring 91

12 October 1992: A device explodes in the gents' toilet of the Sussex Arms public house in Covent Garden

1993: Two IRA bombs at opposite ends of a shopping street in Warrington, timed to go off within minutes of each other, kill two children

1993: The PIRA detonates a huge truck bomb in the City of London at Bishopsgate, which kills two

10 February 1996: The IRA ends its 1994 cease-fire, killing two civilians in a bomb adjacent to the South Quay DLR station in London's Docklands.

18 February 1996: An improvised high explosive device detonates prematurely on a bus travelling along Aldwych in central London, killing Edward O'Brien, the IRA operative transporting the device and injuring eight others

15 June 1996: The IRA detonates a 3,300 lb (1,500 kg) bomb in Manchester, injuring 206 people

Were they military pubs that were blown up killing all those people? Was the Wimpy’s Burger restaurant some kind of secret police or military base? Were the 2 children killed in Warrington soldiers?

Please, don’t tell me that the IRA only target the police and military.

So what do you all think? Can this technology work?

Thats right - Armstrong and Aldrin were headed for a large area full of big rocks so Neil took manual control to make sure the Eagle cleared them and got to a safe area, Neil missed his intended landing site by 4 miles.

Pete Conrad who landed the second lunar mission got within 200 yards of his intended target - lessons were learned from the first landing.

Anybody who thinks we didn't go to the moon is a total moron. Moon hoax believers should be rounded up and put in camps.

BTW, check out my profile pic, the guy standing next to me spent some time just 60 miles above the lunar surface.

Unbelievable, I really don't know what else to say to that.

Just out of interest, have you ever left the United States?

The data server NAS box may be OK at this point, although we have not subjected it to the full production load yet. We currently have the data server turned off so that the file deleter can at least partially clear a large backlog of workunit and result files that are scheduled for deletion. This backlog is a hold over problem from when our database server was on a slow machine. Validation and assimilation are both currently on.

Hi Ric,

His name is George and he is about four and a half months old. Those are actually his defensive colours for when he wants to hide, his display colours are a very impressive sight indeed, I will post another snap when I can catch him in full colour.

He really is a fascinating little animal, way more fun to watch than anything on TV!
