Lynn I have 4 kitties.....my eldest is about 17-1/2yo, and goes to the vet early tomorrow to have her T4 thyroid levels checked again to make sure here meds are at the right dosage. Sorry to hear about your daughter's kitty, but 17yo really is a ripe old age for most domestic cats. But it always hurts to let them go. Tell her the kittyman sends his condolences.
