I am running BOINC 3.19 and SETI 3.08 on Win XP Pro

I connect to get data from the servers and when i connect it will download the seti.exe then once it get that and a work unit it will start computation and as soon as my CPu goes to 99% or so my internet connection drops and i have to redial. As long as seti is crunching at a WU then it will not connect again. I have to suspend Boinc axctivity then reconnect, then reinable activity at this point seti will start crunching a WU and the dl will get about 10k then the connection will drop again. Very irritating, especially when it is trying to get like 5 or more WU.

Any ideas?? What would be nice is if there was a option to disable computations while allowing for network activity. But there is not that option. So dunno??? :(

take a router with broadband or isdn connection.
