If you can search for ET using some very complicated mathematics, physics etc - is it not so hard to give us updates about why the web site or areas of the web site are down or why bonic cannot communicate with seti?

It only takes a few minutes to post in the news section! why, when, where, what, how and the eta of normal service resumption ( is that a word?!)
What it will achieve is more patience from the users rather than everyone trying to get on the site non stop jamming the system as occured last week!

Yea it would be nice, but why they give us a reason they could be fixing it, then after they give the reason.
