I had Seti@Home installed on 4 computers in total. Now I an in the process of installing Boinc on them and successfully installed it on 2 but when I insert the URL address and Account number it tells me that: Boinc failed to log in. Please check your account ID and try again. I do a cut and paste for the URL and Account ID. It worked for the first two times but not now. Is there something that I am missing?
Sometimes the "cut and paste" adds a leading or trailing space to the URL. BOINC is sensitive to this. It's pretty easy to see the space if it happens before the URL, but the space and the end of a URL is basically invisible.
Delete any spaces that might be there, and try again. :)
