but now he has to start over.

Hey Johnny! It's a fair question, but I'm willing to bet your Dad isn't as concerned with the change in stat standing as maybe you are. Looks to me like Seti classic is pretty much a finished project and we're moving on. I did like the way Seti classic did the stats (I was up in the top 3 percent, but really when I looked at other people's stats I didn't compare all that well). Good stats on seti classic should probably just be considered an accomplisment. Now we have something different to accomplish, but hopefully the end goal is the same-to continue the search for ET, to put our computers to work when they're idle and to be a part of a large, cooperative, peaceful international venture. Maybe there's hope for our species yet!

So far very unhappy with Boinc.
