I have been a SETI@HOME participant for nearly 5 years now (just shy of 2500 WU) and transitioned over to BOINC last week.

I've processed, oh, 15-20 WU through BOINC and still have no credit whatsoever. I know these things take time, and the THREE computer rule, but doesn't this seem a little odd?

Any ideas?

Seems Berkeley has been having some problems for the last week. I havent been able to download WU's for either Boinc Beta or Seti@Home/Boinc since they went "Live". I just hope they get if fixed soon.

The three verified WU issue has more than one purpose. One of these is to help prevent cheating. During BETA it usually didn't take too long for them to be submitted & credit issued.

Right now with all the server problems Berkeley has a backlog of submitted results that need to be processed. That backlog is a part of the reason it's taking so long to get the credit.

Curious, are they at least showing up as pending credit?

thanks for the response. To answer your question - no pending credit, no credit, nada. Like I've not processed a single WU.

No cause for concern bschmiduk.

Take a look at this thread.

Credits can take weeks to be granted.

Are they tagged as ready to report on your machine? If so, the credit request has not been transferred to the S@H servers yet. This can be done manually, or automatically the next time the queue is filled from the project, or when the WUs are about to expire.
