Does anybody have a description file or metadata around what the Stderr files contain?

I've tried to look back through the forums, but can't seem to find anything. I'm sure some of it is as obvious as I think, but some of it isn't!

The contents of the stderr.txt file is dependent on the science app that creates it. Different apps produce different stderr.txt outputs. Also user command line parameters alter the contents of the stderr.txt file. So no one source for all possible stderr.txt outputs.
