"Winning" the chance to pay for something makes me remember my mom. She used to go to post-holiday sales, come back with bags of stuff and then say to my father, "look at all the money I saved you!" He would generally roll his eyes, but say nothing.

I won't criticize others purchases or whatever, but then I live by the golden rule, I treat others as I expect to be treated.

Soon it will be a haf xb evo case, 2 more Enermax psus, and a final captain 360EX cpu cooler.

You brought up the subject of the new power supply and I was just asking questions about it and you are offended.

Well the old psu can support either 4 cards with 1-6/8pin pci-e cables each or 2 cards 2-6/8pin pci-e cables each, since there are only 4 ports on the psu and Silverstone decided to stop making pci-e cables w/dual 6/8pin pci-e connectors. And the Enermax psu is 3 years newer and 40mm(1.6") shorter and it has a power switch. I think it's lighter, I have no idea how much either weighs. The Enermax is about 13.63% more efficient going by just the amount of amps which was measured on a calculator, 110A vs 125A.

I didn't say I was offended, you did.

Vic - that is NOT efficiency, it is the power available on one of the (sets of) outputs.
Efficiency is the ratio of the total output power to total output power. Specs for "gold" and "silver" PSU indicate that, at their most efficient power outputs there is only about 2% difference between the two (87% vs 85%).
If both PSU are rated at 1500W then there will be a reduction in the power available on one (or more) of the other outputs otherwise the input circuits will be overloaded.

Arguments can be quite be quite healthy, but this one is going down a bad road. Let's try to steer it in a better direction.

It was pointed out that I omitted the rules for this thread. My mistake. For those who need the reminder the rules are:

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules. (my bad)
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread.
6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's. (I see one owed already)
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post.) (I see one of these too.)

Can Message 1972687 be just ignored, then?

Well, if it's left in the thread, rather than hidden, will it count toward the goal, or should OP ignore it?

I will select the winner based on an event that has a high probability of happening. It's not based on the number of posts. So it will not count toward the goal or against it.

Oh, ok. I never have totally understood the way people win this thread, but that's ok. ;~)

It's up to the prior winner. Typically I choose a number like 707 or 1040 or 123 and who ever posts that number wins. But sometimes people will choose an event. I think I won because I was the first post on Christmas morning. I once based it on the first post after a particular rocket launch.

By the way Eric, how many more delays have there been of your Pegasus mission?
