You are welcome Carlos.

What I wish for, hmm two Gigabyte 1080-turbo cards that I'm watching would be nice, but it's only a wish, sigh.

Now I soon must be off for an 81 mile drive into the mountains below 5,000'.

And before I forget, Congrats Carlos, winning on Xmas Day is pretty sweet.

I'm back from My mountain "wheeze" adventure, 5 miles of twisties on hwy 138 are better in the dark than in the day.

Interior views of My nephews house at 4724' in elevation, I almost couldn't breathe after dinner when I was leaving the house going down the steps outside and stumbled slightly but I didn't fall.

Linda My nephews wife is in one pic(black hair), the stairs in the other pic are inside and I never went up those. His house is 3 stories tall, the garage is under the house.

Sorry it's blurry.

I got two shirts and $25 in an Amazon gift card(redeemed) and some leftovers.

A nice place to visit on the 5 miles of twisties I did see some snow on the ground a few inches wide, but that was it, above 5,000' there was plenty of snow and I saw a pickup with snow on its hood on the way there, I didn't need chains, but parts of the road were wet which will become black ice at or near freezing.

It took about 2hrs to get there cause of heavy i15 traffic from Hesperia CA to Hwy 138 and about 1.5hrs to get home.

Is that in the Calico mountains?

No, San Bernardino Mountains @ Crestline.

@ Betreger thanks.

5 miles of twisted road and a few hairpin turns at 15-25mph, you'd think that road could do the Hula. It was better in the dark for Me, less to see, like steep drop offs. I'd need one of those stair chair lifts to live there cause of My weight and hiatal hernia. My nephew is expanding His brain as He's learning Spanish, Linda is a good influence on Him, at Thanksgiving She wanted to buy My 6'1" aquarium, He didn't and now I know why, there is no place for it there really, oh it might fit in front of the interior stairs but I had no way to tell. I think I'll look elsewhere for a future residence, like one that doesn't leave Me so breathless, My nephew had to carry a gift box to My car after that stumble, I was breathing pretty hard, My Doctor thinks I don't need O2 too. Adelanto CA would do and the housing can be had for as much or less there, it's not as high elevation wise at 2841'(879' higher than where I live at now at 1962', a difference of almost 31%) and is a bit cooler than here in the summer, but colder than here in the winter cause of the Freezer effect of being near a snow covered mountain range, in the summer the snow is gone of course.

I also got to see The Christmas Chronicles at My nephews house on a Samsung 65" 4K TV via Netflix, that was a good movie and for those who have not seen it yet, that's all I will say, beyond go see that movie, you'll love it.

I was in the mountains too. Little higher. Some friends from the central coast had rented a cabin at a ski resort near south Tahoe. So I drove up to visit with them and had dinner with some great friends. I think I was up at around 8,000 feet. Plenty of snow.

I can't be Merry at the moment, the following will say why.

I'm going to see a Nurse Practitioner in the morning about getting an O2 concentrator, since I think I don't have as much lung capacity as I should.

I'm having problems breathing cause of a lack of enough O2 absorption(Hiatal Hernia) and elevation above sea level, this started to be noticeable on a hike into the San Gorgonio Wilderness in the San Bernardino Mountains when I was 12 in 1972(Boy Scouts, Troop 71, Long Beach Area Council), I kept falling further and further behind and yes I was at over 6000' up, My nephews house is at 4724'(My nephew after the stumble carried My gift box to My car and walked near Me, He was concerned about Me, His wife is good for Him, He's developing a heart(empathy)), My current house is at 1962', I've had trouble catching My breath in all 3 locations, the person on the phone asked why didn't you go 13 miles to the ER?

My reply: By then the episode would be over.

At My nephews place I was not going up hill like on the hike, at My place I was not suffering from congestion or going uphill, the idea is that I'm making it up, if I died I'd be faking that too in Her mind and only they are making Me aggravated, normally only a PC can do that irl.

All 3 have O2 and altitude in common.

I did better at 486' or below, but owning or renting in those areas is cost prohibitive today, unless I had millions in the bank and I don't and won't.

2 pics I took, sorry more when I go back there, if ever do.
A pic of Linda My nephews wife, My nephew is now a step dad.

The interior of their 3 story home, sorry they're blurry I had flash on too.

Vic, good idea to see the NP. I hope you could get a rescue inhaler also. You will feel better if that could happen. :)

8:45am, someone cancelled. And now I have a fever and pains, the pains could be My normal ones since I have not taken any pain pills today.

My nephew makes a lot more than I get, He could I'd think heat the place properly, 68F, they were shocked at the fact that I run the furnace at 79F, SWgas cost Me $28.75 with the care rate which is a 30% discount, the floors squeaked everytime someone walked by, He needs to sister in some 2"x10" or 2"x12" floor joists, the house was built in 1928. His mortgage payment is about $1,000.00 a month He said, I have no idea how much He put down in July 2018. "=inch. He has a 65" 4K HDR Samsung TV and I think His living room is a bit smaller than Mine is, it's to the left of the fireplace.

I was parked to the far right in the pic.

His house in Crestline CA. Oh and He's paying for the lot next door too.

How about 14 feet above sea level. This is one of my projects. Hawks Landing at Harbor Cove. Grand opening Memorial Day weekend, next year.

If that's too high I have one in Vallejo at 11 feet above sea level, Mariners Village. But that one is still 2 or more years away.

<snip>

<snip>

Both look nice but with sea level rising, they're flood bait to Me, so no thanks and currently I get $931.72 a month starting on 12/31/2018, in June 2019 I'll be eligible for $140-$170 in SNAP and in 2022 I'll get an extra $270 or so in Social Security benefits as I'll be 62 then, so I really can't afford that. $931.72+170+270=$1,371.72 a month.

I still have about $6734 in debt to pay down and at least $5500 in upgrades, and My credit score needs to get into the 700's, then I need to save up moving money, then I should be able to get a mortgage and hopefully sell this place for cash, banks won't lend in a mobile home park.

I'm looking at getting down payment help from the Voter approved California Proposition 1, Housing Programs and Veterans' Loans Bond "Act" (2018) under a lender who deals with CalHome, which I think is Golden Empire Mortgage.

My limit is probably somewhere between $115,000 and $250,000. I'm tired of this park, I'm eligible for both CARE and Medical Baseline and the Park has been trying to weasel out of it, 1st they blamed the previous billing company, if both are not on the electricity portion of My January 2019 bill I'll be filing a complaint with the CPUC and the CA Dept of Weights and Measures since SCE said I could at both, I delivered proof that I'm eligible for both by delivering a copy that I printed out, which is why I have a Canoscan 9950F flatbed scanner and a Panasonic KX-P1124 dot matrix printer.
