To all of you in the U.S., I wish you a healthy and happy Thanksgiving Day!

I've never been accustomed to big family gatherings on the holidays. It's basically been my parents and me all my life. My dad died in 1982, and since then it's been just my mother and I, and with her passing last year, it is just me, now. I'm ok with that. I still cook a turkey, and there's lots of leftovers for me! ;~)

Thanks, Vic. Nice picture!

What's on the menu for people this year?

Canned jellied cranberry sauce is my favorite Thanksgiving item.

Turkey, dressing, jello salad(lime or I think cherry, with cream cheese, sliced almonds, some halved cherries, and maybe pineapple), real home made mashed potatoes made with butter, sweet potatoes, etc, etc, etc.
I miss My mom's cornbread.

A type of Lime Jello Salad.

I prefer this type of cranberry sauce. If someone serves the stuff that has the cranberry shells (peels?) in it, I can't eat it.

I was going to go to a local restaurant and eat something (turkey, etc., if they offered it) but, as usual, I slept late. Instead I'll be having a large serving of mixed vegetables for dinner. I haven't made it to the store to shop for groceries in a while so there isn't much in the pantry.

Unlike My nephew, I can eat plain or jellied cranberries and anything except liver and pineapple, I'm still locking for that pin. ;)

You're welcome, gobble gobble.
