This is a new problem. When I have the BOINC GUI open (even minimzed) it takes 100% even just on the 'Notice' tab. That is, the GUI itself takes 100% CPU, not any of the tasks

This is 7.14.2 on Windows 10.

Now, if I suspend all the projects, the the UI goes down to 0%CPU. But if I turn on any projects (Seti@Home or Einstein@Home) then it's back to 100% CPU

Any idea what is going on? Is there some setting that is causing this?

Ah, looks like the GUI becomes the parent and reports all of it's children's CPU as it's own. If you expand the GUI's line , then it's all itemzed out.

Problem Solved!
