Hi how does one merge there accounts as its not automatically done that even though i put the same details as my WCG/Collatz accounts

Each project runs its own set of accounts so cannot be merged. That said, there are third-party webistes like boincstats that take regular snapshots from the vast majority of projects, collate them and present a snapshot for individuals.

Hi , finally i recover my old account on seti with this nick name witch was i searching years for recovery ..)) from 2005 look : i was crunching for while on my P4 3200mhz and 1 gb ram and was too excited from seti screen saver on my 14 inch CRT monitor .what a times )) make me memories now )) remember my stock cooler on P4 scream while i crunching seti )

I have a similar question.
I ran 5000+ "classic" units, well before BOINC, way back when I was teaching (about 1994-2000) and it would be cool to see those stats on my account home.
Obviously, my email is not the same, but I could forward my real name and a copy of my Certificate of Appreciation (signed by David Anderson and Louis Friedman). Sadly, I have misplaced my 5000 certificate in some pile of ancient academic detritus.

Unfortunately "merging" accounts is not possible.

It is possible to have your old "Classic" account data displayed along with your current "BOINC" account data. Provided the "old" account hasn't been lined to any other account, and your current account does not already have a "Classic" account linked already.
You have to look on your account page for a link/button titled something like "Link to Classic account" - it appears to vanish after it's been used, so I can't readily find it as my "BOINC" and one of my "Classic" accounts are already linked (sadly I chose the one with the biggest score, not my 1999 account).
