my brother had a power chair that he used to sleep in.
i'm drawn to take naps in it. it is just too comfortable.
plus, the buttons. i have two laptops beside it but i
hardly ever use them because the chair is just so
comfortable...i have a tv in front of it. i hardly use it....
comfortable...

Reminds me of Martin's beloved chair on Frasier. ;~)

Those chairs are often advertised as sleeping chairs. I suppose they're for people who find it difficult to move from a chair to a bed, or people whose mobility is limited so sleeping in a bed is not an option because they wouldn't be able to get up.

My mom has one to help her stand if she needs help. So far she doesn't seem to need help standing from that particular chair.

No but you wouldn't be very uncomfortable in an electric chair for long... Unless there was a power outage :)

I'm eventually going to get one of these Lane chairs, it has a500lb weight rating, the cost is about $556 currently.
This is to replace part of My 24yr old broken sofa/recliner, I'd have to get a loveseat and ottoman for anyone else.

The 53.5" wide loveseat. It was not easy to find 3 in a similar color.

The ottoman, which in this case can be used as storage which is very lacking here.

This looks quite scary.

It reminds me of one of those boxes you put your penny in and a great big hand comes out and takes your penny and then swallows you up.

eek :(

LOL

The recliner looks quite safe and comfy, however.

For some odd reason we here in Scandinavia love to design chairs.
Bruno Mathsson was a designer for example.

And many more designers. https://www.google.se/search?q=chair+design+sweden

I like folding chairs.

Interesting. None of those permutations look every comfortable, but it's a handy little thing.

Not to mention strong, that recliner can support 500 lbs of weight, though that comes with a price. Maybe one day soon.

I am, as well. Unfortunately it still happens in some states. But no one uses the electric chair anymore.

My body is like a memory pillow, if I layed down on that for more than 5 mins that
