Oh:(
One of the world's most admired diplomats has gone out of time. Under Kofi Annan's leadership, the UN had a rare successful and bold period, and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. He devoted his life to peace issues and, until his death, was a discreet but successful peace broker in African countries.
"No one is born as a good citizen, no nation is born as a democracy. Both are processes that continue to evolve over a lifetime. "

This news made very sad reading today :(

Two people (Aretha and Kofi) in two days - both, in their different ways, strove to make the world a better and fairer place for us all. Both are a tremendous loss.
