I've got a small network here consisting of three computers (let's call them Slow, Medium, and Fast, where Slow is an Athlon 1000 - 266FSB, Medium is a Duron 1300 - 200 FSB, and Fast is an Athlon XP 2500+ overclocked to over 2.2GHz - 380 FSB).

All three are running BOINC and Seti@Home now. But when I look at my Account Stats, I see all three computers, and for Slow and Medium, the percentages (% of time the computer is on, % of time the host is connected, and % of time the user is active) are all at 100%, as I would expect, as these computers are always on.

But when I look at the stats for Fast (which is also always on), yesterday the three percentages were below 3%. Today they've "jumped" to 4.17%.

I also noticed that despite setting it to download 5 days worth of WU for each PC, it's only downloaded 2 for Fast (and despite having downloaded 3 for Slow, and 4 for Medium). Actually, I just checked my preferences, and I've got it set to download "from 3 to 5 days" worth of WU. But my fastest computer has only downloaded 2 total. I would have expected more, like at least 6-10.

I can't help but think that percentage error is affecting how many WU my fastest computer downlaods to process.

Could that be affecting it? And if so, is there a way to reset it, so it would give a more accurate representation?

The active percent does affect how much work is downloaded.

The percentage should eventually fix itself, I forget the half-life on that one so I can't estimate how long that would take. You can do a clean install to reset the percentages (unistall, delete BOINC directory, reinstall). You could also try editing or deleting the client_state.xml file.

good luck
