I see that the RTS is almost empty. Splitters never did take off after the outage. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Resend Lost Tasks, the first two tasks that I got were the two Ghosts that I had. Of course they could just need a size twelve applied to the right spot. The guys will get them going when they come in. . . It's nice to get ghost resends without the rigmarole ... Stephen :) |

Splitter output still poor, but good enough to stop the Ready-to-send buffer from emptying out, at this stage. Grant Darwin NT |

Splitter output still poor, but good enough to stop the Ready-to-send buffer from emptying out, at this stage. Well, that was the case. Ready-to-send buffer has gone from falling slightly, to taking a dive. 2-3 hours work left at current rate of decline. Post outage splitter woes continue. Grant Darwin NT |

Ity might be time to boot all the splitters in the bum (I.E. re-boot ther splitter program) as when I checked, there were only 2.4k WU to send out and the creation rate was only 24/sec... Normally with that few WU, the creation rate would be up in the 50/sec range! But at least some WU's are being created... . Hello, from Albany, CA!... |

It's guided from certain keywords in the twitter feed from a president of a known country :-) Then we're all screwed. |

I wouldn't say splitter output is better than it was, just that it's not as bad as it has been. Grant Darwin NT |

I wouldn't say splitter output is better than it was, just that it's not as bad as it has been. That's why I suggested re-booting ALL the splitters... . Hello, from Albany, CA!... |

Ready-to-send is now down to 1. Will we get another dead cat bounce, or is it now down for the count? Grant Darwin NT |

It's probably safe to mention it now, but for a while there the splitters actually cranked up their output & the Ready-to-send buffer actually end up with some work in it. Then not only did they fall over again, but their output is even less than it was before that little burst of activity. Present load is just under 120k per hour. Present splitter output less than 56k per hour. So expect to run out of work over the next few hours, unless we get lucky again. EDIT- just noticed 42 channels on one file have all errored out. Bad data, or more server problems, hence the poor splitter output? Now 43. Grant Darwin NT |

Now 43. Now 49. Looks like that entire file is going in to the bit bin. Might be worth Eric's while to check it out on Monday. Now 52 File name is blc12_2bit_blc12_guppi_58157_16456_DIAG_PSR_J1024-0719_0006 in case it's gone when Eric gets a chance to look at it. Grant Darwin NT |
