Hi, got a question. I have 3 computers running SETI and one of them will not come out of pause after the mouse or keyboard haven't been touched in either the default of 3 minutes or how I have it set up with 1 minute. I've checked everything I know of to get it work, seems strange that it is set up the same as the other 2 and they work fine. Any help would be apprieciated. Something on that computer must still be spinning a process that BOINC detects as activity so won't resume task processing, Have you thought of just leaving that parameter 'blank' in the Preferences screen? Or you will have to pull up Process Explorer in the Task Manager to see what background processes are running that might be confusing BOINC into thinking that mouse or keyboard activity is still present. Could something running in background (after the 3 minute dormancy check, like an intrusive screen-saver) be making boinc think the computer is in use when you don't think it is? Just a guess. |

Oh. Somehow Keith's reply did not show up at the right time, so mine was redundant. |
