It's officially the start of my weekend.

Dear Carlos,
enjoy you weekend,
I love California, in 1960 my dad, mother and us small children,
were head south on i5 from --- Vancouver, Canada --- going south thru the mountain pass near Mt Shasta,
in our 1936 plymouth car, a state hyway proll car red lights flashing pull us over,
not to give us a ticket, but help us fix a red tail light lens that had come lose,
the officer whent to the trunk of his proll car, got some duct tape and fixed our tail light.
latter i saw tears on my on my dad's face, i asked what was wrong,
my dad said --- his voice choked with emotion --- "i wish we had more people in the world like that young officer"

I understand what you mean. I have been both on the receiving and giving side of life. Oh and I also driven the same road many times. I went to law school in Washington and road my bike (crossing on the ferry) around Vancouver too. Best place to be in the spring time. Loved it up there.
