Greetings, I went to Nvidia to see about a newer version of my driver. I currently have v388.71. They have v390.65 so I downloaded and did a clean install of it. After installation I found that a game launcher window was invisible. All I could see of it was a line at the top and bottom. If I dragged my cursor around I could find the side edges. I could also see tooltips pop up here and there. I thought perhaps it's the launcher so I clicked around until I found the logout link and logged out. I re-logged back in and the window was still invisible. I google searched about invisible windows and found a discussion about DirectX. I did the DirectX diagnostics in Windows (7 pro 64 bit), and found nothing wrong. I thought "Ok, let's re-install the video driver version I had previously". I did a clean install of v388.71 and the launcher window was no longer invisible. I believe that v390.65 may be borked and should be avoided. YMMV. I thought I would post this just for GP. :) Siran CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. Hello, I use the 390.65. It has been running stably for quite some time, as well as without significant time delays in crunching. |

Hello, I use the 390.65. It has been running stably for quite some time, as well as without significant time delays in crunching. Hi Sebastian, Perhaps my install got borked somehow. I guess I'll try installing it again to see what happens. Thanks! :) Siran CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L.
