Hi

I was wondering how long it takes for WUs to be validated, my outstanding pending validation is about 70% approx of the work i have processed so far is this normal?

Thanks

Russell

Yes that is normal, It all depends on how fast your wingmen complete their tasks. Some can take months ...
My Pendings are currently at 130% of Valids.

Depends when your wingman returns his/her work.

There needs to be two versions of the WU returned that match up against each other for validation to occur. If you both have no errors and the results "agree" (they don't have to be exact matches, as I understand the process, just "close enough" as decided by the servers), validation occurs.

BUT if your wingman fails to return it by the deadline, or gets a non-matching result, it will go to yet another computer, and may thus take a long time before your pending result will validate (if it does, as your result may turn out to be the anomalous one); this process can (rarely) take months to resolve, so don't worry.
