Did you try TBar's method of selecting all Pending Uploads, then hit Retry and then keep popping the Update button?

I see his post but I`m far from the host. In a remote location with very slow internet conection to try remotely even with teamViewer.
At least i`m in the beach close to some cold beers and a nice Cohiba Siglo III.

The obvious one is that they gave the system time to clear the file deletion backlog, which would have been 5+ hours, I think.
And I'm sure they took a good long look at the raid for that as well.

Unfortunately it's almost back up to 3/4 million already waiting on deletion.

Wonder if the network issues to the GBT are recurring? Running out of GBT files, although there's quite a few from Arecibo at the moment.

Wondering the same myself. GBT data is long gone and now only the Arecibo splitters have anything to chew on. Will definitely need more data loaded before the weekend.

And even those splitters arn't performing real well either.

Cheers.

Looks like Milky Way and Einstein will be kicked in again this week.

Any news on the extended outage on Tuesday and today's issue with lack of work to do?

Yep, unless the elves do something about the splitters, we will all be out of work even with tapes still unsplit. 0 tasks in the RTS buffer and nothing but no tasks available messages on all machines for the last couple of scheduler contacts.

Have heard from both Eric and Jeff.
More GBT data 'MAY' be available tomorrow.
And enabling a few more PFB splitters to try to help in the meantime.
It could be a bit lean until the GBT is ready and can be transferred.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeow.

Out of work on the Linux cruncher. Can't connect to scheduler. Always occurs at this time of night when the project glitches. Doesn't help that the splitters can't provide any work for the RTS buffer to send out when you do have luck in making a connection.

Always occurs at this time of night when the project glitches.

I was thinking this time it was an hour later than usual.
It used to occur around 06:00 on the Haveland graphs. Then it was around 07:00. Today it was around 08:00hrs.

And, yes, the nearly deceased splitters aren't helping things either.

. . Its seems we have another Arecibo VLAR glut again, CPU Q is full of them (100) but GPU Q is nearly empty, I had one d/l of 8 tasks, nothing before than and nothing since and only 6 tasks left. I may have to "share" the VLAR's with the GPU :(

Someone needs to give the splitters a kick (re-boot?) as we're down to less than 500 WU ready to send, and the splitters are only producing 30 wu's/sec. With the inventory that low, they should be up at 45-50/sec...
Downloading and mounting some Greenbank "tapes" would also be nice...
