well, i'm back again.
to get you all caught up with
things here at the Phud Estate...
1. i have a new grandson. five months old, red hair and blue eyes. weighed 10lbs 6 oz at birth. and he was three weeks premature. his five year old brother was 10lbs 3oz.
2. My brother passed away a month after the baby was born. he had changed his entire routine and way of living but the changes came too late. but i'm pretty sure he enjoyed his life. it was a quick death so he did not suffer much at all.
3. we have a new dog named Missy. she is part everything. no really.
4. i was in a really bad car wreck which totalled our car. i was hit by one of those really large commercial dump trucks. i was unhurt. although i did wobble a bit.
5. our hot water heater rusted out and mold and mildew got into the pergo type flooring in the basement. had to get a restoration company in. the mold and mildew screwed up my lungs. i had to start using that Breo stuff.

Welcome home!!!

Congratulations on the newest addition to your family.

Eric and I send our condolences to you. It is so hard to lose a sibling. Wishing you peace.

Glad to hear you were unhurt in the auto accident. Cars can be replaced. People and people parts... not so much.

Sorry to hear about the mold and mildew problem. Wishing you perfect health in 2018!

I've never tried Cheerios with my little woodland friends. Nice to know they are fans.

also, i'm firmly convinced that "Ancient Aliens" is the best comedy show on television.

i'm running my wu's out,
then i'll completely redo Boinc
and SAH on this computer.
it seems new versions and applications
sprout faster here than weeds in my yard.

it is 8F here. and the dog wants to go out.

The weather said they think Mt Washington will get down to -100F, Mars average temp might be warmer at -85F, now that is irony...

i'm wondering if the north atlantic gulf stream has been desalinated enough to shut down?
if so, these low temps are going to be more common.

If so, then the UK and Ireland would be next with really low temps, not to mention Europe.

Vic, I think the -100 was just a "wind chill" estimate. I'm pretty sure it is impossible for the actual air temperature to get that cold on this planet.
