But isn't the 2nd Amendment about self protection not about threats?.
Exactly the point.

Ask yourself why weren't prisoners released by DPRK during the last American administration when the Coward in Chief and Secretary of Stupidity were kissing Kim's ass?

Set. Game. Match.

DPRK releases Americans to return to the US.

Eye, this BBC news article indicates you are once again making things up to try to prove a partisan point.

EXACTLY which part of .......
Ask yourself why weren't prisoners released by DPRK during the last American administration when the Coward in Chief and Secretary of Stupidity were kissing Kim's ass?
......is made up?

I didn't see old big ears meeting Chamberlain or Hill-liary at 2am to greet released DPRK prisoners. Or is THAT made up?

I would point out that intimating a poster is untruthful comes under

Don't you remember the "donate line item" on the 1040 tax form that you made up?
I didn't see old big ears meeting Chamberlain or Hill-liary at 2am to greet released DPRK prisoners. Or is THAT made up?

And how is that germane to your made up statement?

JE... Agree with all.

They do have a need to become personal when asked to defend their positions. They and their personal accusations, but not disagreeing with opinions nor correcting factual errors...

Well..

So you agree that it is OK to make stuff up to try to prove a partisan point, that doesn't surprise.

The deeper problem with pressuring North Korea versus Iran: tunnels
Donald Trump essentially tore up the Iran nuclear deal on Tuesday (May 8), as he promised he would. Many experts warned the move would complicate his planned summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, who they argue will now have less reason to trust any agreement with the US.
The U.S.'s allies are also lacking trust with the U.S. and its current admin "Circus of Stupidity" which is very likely why they're globe trotting leaders and reps all over the place visiting each other so much these days.

And a awful lot of trade deals have and are also been or are being struck that exclude the U.S. totally during these same meetings. I wonder why.

Cheers.

AM... Thank you for attempting to return to a discussion regarding this Topic. We have two very evil regimes which are most probably a threat to millions of innocents.

Understanding that there are others who will reference France, the UK, the USA, Pakistan, et al, to deflect from the real threat now facing the world from their evil now, or in the future.

Understanding that any N. Korean and the Iranian Regime's 'Agreements' most probably cannot be trusted. without valid 'threats' they will be scared of.

AM, JE and possibly 'Yap'. How do we stop them without unleashing 'unintended consequences'?

If 'unintended consequences' has always been necessary to stop their type of threat to humanity. You do understand that?

Carl Philipp Gottlieb von Clausewitz had said ''War is a mere continuation of politics by other means''.

It seems to me that words do not serve. The blabbing time is over. They had their chance, they wasted it. And should we still trust such rascals? Do you want to go around with a person who classifies himself as your own friend, when behind the board hides a dagger?

NATO, wake up!

Well I see Rump has done his perp walk of the detainees.

Obama had the good sense to send them directly to a hospital when they were released. Do what is best for them.

Rump? No, political points are far more important to him than the welfare of a citizen.

The Iron Boot of economic sanctions on their neck seems to be quite effective when it's allowed to work. Iran would have collapsed by now if the lickspittle Swift Boat genius and big ears had forced the issue instead of contributing 150 Billion dollars (much in cash) to further world terrorism.

For the past 73 years you haven't stopped looking for "Reds under the bed". Had you dialled that stupidity back a notch, the view out your windows today would probably be much clearer.

And the present regarding murdering and enslaving Kim?

Guessing you will now deflect from the present situation and this Topic.
HAD you dialled back that stupidity, you would not be in the "present situation" Your reply only confirms that you're too blind to see that. :-)
