There is no need to respond to a vacuous statement so totally devoid of analytical thought. Any 1st grade student knows enough geography to realize the bathtub between Russia and CONUS would be termed 'European Waters', and preventing that bathtub being occupied by Bears would seem to be a logical position. .............duh. Don't forget the dragons :-) The strategy makes countering Russia and China a priority.Just an FYI for you, NO European power had any influence in that decision. It all comes down to the FACT that you were never going home. Had you done so, it would devastate your "national interests" BTW as seen for the last few decades, your only "national interest" is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ |

BTW as seen for the last few decades, your only "national interest" is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$Which apparently we're pretty good at compared to the socialist swamps everyone keeps trying to turn us into........... To paraphrase Tim Allen "........Americans are Pigs..........too bad we own everything." Jealousy is unbecoming........ "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

...& China owns you.A matter of POV, incidentally you should examine just exactly how little US debt the Chinese actually hold in comparison to the US GDP. It wouldn't be out of the question to buy it out thus eliminating the interest or at least reducing it by half. THAT would undermine a great deal of Chinese 'wealth' not to mention economic stability. Again it gets down to WHO is the biggest customer and WHO blinks first. As to the Navy and the Dragon, that's a different bathtub. And if you think the expansion by the Dragon into the South China sea is no big deal, wait til they start extorting passage 'fees' for vessels traveling in those troubled waters. The old protection racket on an international scale. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

China owns 19% of the US debt. What some people don't understand is that debt becomes due every 28 days*. So if one day Rump tweets something that pisses Xi off, they don't renew that debt purchase. It would make the financial collapse of 2007-8 on top of the crash of 1929 look like a cake walk. The DOW would be trading at under 100 points. You are owned by China. Obey your master. *They aren't buying 30 year bonds, they are buying 28 day cash management notes. |

And if it's a bad deal, Trump won't just 'sign on the dotted line' like Swift boat John 'Chamberlain' Kerry, and the Secretary of Theft and Prevarication did with Iran.Chummi Fatty Un says US ruining mood of detente ahead of summit "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

The difference is Kim is not meeting with a wuss he knows will never exercise the 'Military Option' due to abject fear. He is meeting with what everyone labels an unpredictable and sometimes volatile personality who happens to have a VERY big stick in just economic sanctions but also that 'Military Option' none want to see. IMHO Trump 'the Deal Maker' will offer concessions to Kim, UPON VERIFICATION that actual dismantling of the nuclear and ballistic missile program(not transfer or storage of technology like Iran) are underway and probably link reduction of sanctions incrementally to reduction of these programs. DPRK releases Americans to return to the US.Donald didn't do nothing for the release of the Americans. Sweden did. We are the Protecting Power in DPRK to the US. According to sources of SVT News in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sweden has played an important role in the negotiations between the US and North Korea about the detainees in prison. |

Kim only cares about who is pointing a gun at his head, not nice words.Well, in this case no one has pointed a gun at his head and still releases Americans. |

What more can you expect from one who "idolises" the 2nd Amendment. To him, holding a gun at those he disagrees with is the only belief he holds. |

What more can you expect from one who "idolises" the 2nd Amendment. To him, holding a gun at those he disagrees with is the only belief he holds.I don't hold a gun on anyone. I don't require anyone to adhere to my beliefs regarding firearms. I don't try to pass laws requiring all to purchase and bear firearms. In other words I state my beliefs clearly but do not expect others to think the same way like those who think wishing they were 'back in Kansas' will make it so. That's the difference in thought patterns, you want to control what I do, say and possess, while I don't really give a rat's ass what you do, say or possess because YOU are irrelevant to my life. But isn't the 2nd Amendment about self protection not about threats?. Oh I forgot about the US cowboy culture. "Do you feel lucky?" |
