I was wondering, would thee be any benefit to creating a Windows 10 User Account soley for Seti@Home projects that runs all the time?

I’ve wondered about this too. I have not physically tried to set it up lately. If you can disable hardware/programs/services that are not needed to crunch SETI (bare bone setup) you can get more crunch. I’ve done that with Farm crunchers. Last I tried (Win7) with Daily the disabled stuff was in both logins. Has anybody done this successfully with Win10?

Was something wrong with Juha's answer on the BOINC forums, that you had to re-ask here?

On the other hand, if you are going to do only CPU computing you could install BOINC as a service. In that case BOINC installer will create separate accounts on your behalf.

A separate user account is somewhat more secure in that any programming bugs can't harm any of your personal files.
