The only person I know about that have suffered from bone spurs is a former colleague of mine.
He was in the Royal Swedish Navy for about 25 years but was forced to retire, not because his feet problem, but because that the Navy was downsizing.

Have no idea of his college sports activities but he did post this himself: "I went to Wharton, made over $8 billion, employ thousands of people & get insulted by morons who can’t get enough of me on twitter...!"

So by his own admission, he elects himself as the "Great Moronic Twitter" that fellow morons follow.

Well, the way I see it is that the ordinary citizens of the US are blameless & they should hold all the intellectuals in all fields of their society at fault for allowing a moronic dumbass to attain the highest office in the land.

Could be.
However when we had a drafting system I seriously doubt that heel spurs was an illness that would unqualify you to be a conscript. Instead you were enlisted as a "Malaj" instead of a Private meaning you didn't have to do any soldier training and just serving as supporting troops behind the lines.
Heck, we didn't have any wars to fight and still ALL young males (at least more than 95%) was drafted for at least 7 months!

Not only Sweden's military. Finland's as well. But they had to serve longer:)
The drafting system was however abolished when Soviet Union collapsed.
Well. It's now re-established, not as much as then but it's a changing world...

If the American public would pay for the unending wars we might have fewer of them. We won't economically pay for them with taxes and we won't impose the draft on the populace but instead rely upon a paid mercenary army. Not all are there for mercenary reasons but with the bottom 50% a job in the military may be their best career option.
I say there is a need for the draft now. Spread the pain of war and more will object and elect a more reasonable leadership.

Since the USA is the wealthiest International Power protecting Global International Commerce on the seas, Western Europe, Japan, S. Korea, Scandinavia, et al.

But you always say that the US doesn't care anymore and that their armed forces are going home. Well the US is obviously not going home since the budget has increased.
Note that the US world share of military expenditures is more than 35%.
Next big spenders are China's 13%, Saudi Arabia 4%, Russia's 3.8%.
One would think that we would live in perfect harmony by now...
