If one refers to the past as you've just done, you cannot pick a "waypoint" but have to go all the way back to when there was just the one land mass which makes nations irrelevant :-) I was rethink to this. Gary, do you not agreed that islands is part of Earth's crust that emerge from sea or ocean? MYGA! MAKE YAWN GREAT AGAIN |

If you want a couple of current counter examples, Iceland and the Great Rift Valley in Africa. But completely off topic. OB: How long before Iran buys all of Kim's nukes now that Rump has capitulated? |

If one refers to the past as you've just done, you cannot pick a "waypoint" but have to go all the way back to when there was just the one land mass which makes nations irrelevant :-) A bit off topic and then I close: maybe I said that badly. However the islands are emerged land. if we were to remove the water, the islands are '' attached '' to the earth's crust. No floating like the leaves on a pond. I meant to say this. Any North Korea nuclear deal must involve Iran’s nuclear program The origin of North Korea’s success as a nuclear power began with assistance of the world’s most prolific proliferator, Abdul Qadeer Khan (AQK), Pakistan’s “Father of the Islamic Bomb†whose underground network sold centrifuge designs and equipment to numerous countries, both known (North Korea, Libya, Iraq and Iran) and unknown. Perhaps the most alarming evidence of cooperation came when North Korea tested a nuclear device in February 2013 and Iran’s seldom-seen chief nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi, was there to witness the event. Some analysts believe that the cooperation is so complete that Iran actually has moved its most secret nuclear research facilities to North Korea. MYGA! MAKE YAWN GREAT AGAIN |

President Trump and John Bolton just might be strategic geniuses..... They have neatly put Iran and the other signers of the so called 'deal' in a box and tied a ribbon around it. If the Iranians start enriching Uranium again in retaliation what choice do the other 'deal makers' have? Support the Terrorist spreading nation or pull out of the deal and return to sanctions? If Iran keeps it's word and refrains from enrichment or restarting it's nuke weapons program then nothing has changed from when the US was still in. The old rock and a hard place...... Iran now has the same choice as DPRK, renounce nuclear weapons and delivery systems or face total economic if not physical destruction. You're right, Jan, he IS the Genius (you wish was) From Karlstedt... "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

The plot thickens further. One has to wonder if Rump is actually negotiating his exile in DPRK and not nuclear arms. |
